Hello,

How feasible would it be for Xvnc to support XRandR at this point?
I spoke to the developer who added rotate and reflect functionality from
the XRandR extension to Xvnc version 3.3.7. He's not interested in this
stuff any more it seems but he claims, regarding resize support
specifically:
"Resizing probably wouldn't be that hard to implement, from what I
remember of that code." But I'm not sure he's aware of the system
changes from 3.3.7 to 4.1.2.
Alan, the xf4vnc developer says xrandr support could technically be
added to his project but he doesn't have the time to do it at the
moment.
Since resizing, rotating and reflecting XRandR already work with the
main X server; I'm not sure where the issues with porting this over to
Xvnc lie. Especially since Xvnc doesn't have to deal with graphics card
drivers, monitor modes, etc.
If someone who knows more about this could enlighten me that would be
great, thanks.

-Chris
