Hello VNC gurus... I had VNC working fine this morning and has been working fine for several weeks. Then, at about 10am, one of the apps I was accessing hung and it also hung the VNC session. I closed out and tried to reconnect - no dice. I then shut down the server and restarted - no dice.
What happens is that the vncserver command completes just like normal and then I attempt a VNC session, I only get a dark blue wallpaper with no icon bar and no desktop. This appears to be the same dark blue screen that I get when the VNC is starting but before it has completed - almost as if the X-server is hanging somewhere. Nothing was changed on this server at all - seriously - nothing. This server is a Cisco 7925 (IBM) running RHEL-4. I have also tried rebooting but no joy.
