Hi, I installed VNC Enterprise Server on AIX 5.2 and when, from my windows laptop, I try to connect via VNC Enterprise viewer I enter the password, it connects, but no graphical display opens. The password dialog accepts the password, closes, but nothing happens.
Do I need X11 installed on the AIX 5.2? Please, see below both my X11 error and my VNC Log. ################################### ### Here is what I see if I run xinit #### ################################### # xinit Could not load /usr/lpp/gai/ Could not load 6 8 1362-029 The X11.vfb fileset is not installed. 1356-800 xinit: Unable to start the X server. 1356-805 xinit: Giving up. 1356-811 xinit: Unable to connect to X server. 1356-803 xinit: Server error. 1356-804 xinit: Client error. ################################### ### Here is my vnc log: #### ################################### # cat /.vnc/furious:1.log Xvnc Enterprise Edition E4.4.2 (r13160) - built Jun 16 2008 13:00:46 Copyright (C) 2002-2008 RealVNC Ltd.
