Hi, I am using vncserver to connect to my Fedora 9 workstation. I am able to connect and everything seems to be working fine. However, whenever I start an application at the remote system using VNC viewer, I can not move its window, or resize it. Furthermore that application does not show up in the application panel, and also its title bar is hidden. It is positioned at the top left corner inside the VNC viewer window. I can not close it using ALT+F4, or can not minimize it either. If I try to start another application, it will also show the same behavior, and will also be positioned at the same location within the VNC viewer window. Also, if I try to switch between the appliation using ALT+Tab, it does not work. So, I have to close one application in order to use the other one.
Can anybody please help me in trying to solve this problem? I am not an expert of Linux/Fedora, but I have tried different settings in xstartup configurations.
