Since I don't want to ever touch my server (that will be
screen,mouse&keyboardless, stored in a cupboard), I need a VNC server that
will be active before login.
I checked this:

but there's many thing I don't understand so I don't know if it is even
related to what I want to do...
If any of you know how I can achieve my goal, I would ve very grateful for
any help or link to find some.
(since I'm really not an expert, please use simple words ;-) )
if any of you knows a solution not involving VNC and believes that it would
be more suitable for what I want to do, please let me also know about it.

the ubuntu 8.10 has a vnc-like server already built-in, yay!
in the preferences menu there is a remote screen option
turn it on :-)
set whether or not ou want a password ;
the second thing you may want to check is if it automatically logs in
[probably]
so find the login control panel in the admin or preferences menu
