        Shouldn't matter how you are connected.  I test with a ppp connection
in the cradle then the wireless modem takes over after testing is done. 
We are toying with trying it over IR.

Anything you can run on your box.  Most things are pretty hard to
navigate at first though.  We customize any apps that will regularly be
run from the palm or visor for size.
