Am I correct in assuming that I will take an unnecessary performance hit
if I run tight encoding over an ssh tunnel with compression enabled?
Ordinarily, I would think that would simply try to recompress
already-compressed data, but I'm not sure if that's the case here.
Should I disable compression for the ssh tunnel, or leave it alone?
