Below is my original post of the problem - has ANYONE else run into this? I
have tried several different Win2K systems and on some the error occurs, on
others VNC loads normally.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!!

Subject: Error Message: "java.net.SocketException: connect"
Problem Description:
When connecting to VNC host, applet loads and appears. After entering
authentication almost immediately the error message
"java.net.Socket.Exception: connect" appears in the applet window, and
connection to the VNC host is not made. Does anyone have any insight as to
why this would occur? The host is a Win2K box, and the desktops being used
to connect to the host are both Win2K running IE 5.5. On certain systems
connection is made, on others the error occurs. I searched the archive and
found nothing on this, other than another individual posted this problem
about a year ago, but there was no resolution posted.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
