What OS are you sending it to? It should work with WinNT/2K, but does not work with Win9x/ME (see the faqs for more info). If you're not totally locked out of a Win9x/ME session, you may still be able to run TASKMGR.EXE to kill a frozen app. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 06, 2001 8:12 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Sending the "ctl-alt-del" from the dropdown does not work?? I have successfully used VNC with win98 and WinNT 4.0, and have used this for about 2 years. My current environment uses Windows 2000. I have tried using the latest build of WInVNC,3.3.3r7 and backed it off to 3.3.3. to see if it would behave differently. No go. All of the remote control functions work perfectly, but when the Ctl-Alt-Del is selected, nothing is sent to the remote system, which is also Win2000 workstation. Suggestions? Anyone?
