I am a newbie to Solaris 8, but I have installed several freeware software
packages, but I am having a problem with the install of VNC 3.3.3r2.
Problem:
% xmkmf
% make World
make Makefiles
makeing Makefiles in libvncauth...
sh: imake: not found
make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target 'Makefiles'
Current working directory $HOME/shareware/vnc_unixsrc/libvncauth
making Makefiles in vncviewer
sh: imake: not found
make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target 'Makefiles'
Current working directory $HOME/shareware/vnc_unixsrc/vncviewer
...
I tried to add /usr/openwin/bin to path so it could find imake*, that
failed.
I hate to bother you folks with this newbie questions, but I would
appreciate any info you could provide to make solve this problem.
