Agreed - the beauty of VNC's cross platform ability.
However, there is a basic flaw in Xvnc which allows a single "viewer" to
perturb the service for all "viewers" - the reads and writes are
effectively blocking with some arbitrary timeouts. One slow/suspended
client can ruin the show for everyone - and does so at our site :-( I
guess this was the motivation for writing VNCProxy. I'm looking into the
possibility of a solution inside Xvnc in WriteExact() and ReadExact().
