I have the problem described in this threat :
vguffens@bru-cse-013% vncviewer snsvpc7:0
VNC server supports protocol version 3.3 (viewer 3.3)
Password:
VNC authentication succeeded
vncviewer: VNC server closed connection
vguffens@bru-cse-013%
vnc server close the connection as soon as the password is validated. I
turned on the log and they are similar then the ones presented in the
threat by
Tim Walker ([EMAIL PROTECTED])

the client is running on solaris 8, the server is running on win2k,
version 3.3.3 R2
