Can someone explain to me what TridiaVNC is?
I assume it is another implementation of the VNC tool that was developed in
the AT&T lab.
It sounds like it may have more security features in it that IT managers
could appreciate. Can anyone comment?
Where do I find more information about this product?
TIA,
Joe Campbell

Well, mine's called "TridiaVNC Server HTTP Folder", but there you go...

Here's the index.vnc file - the comment explains all:
<!-- index.vnc - default html page for Java VNC viewer applet. On any file
ending in .vnc, the HTTP server embedded in Xvnc will substitute the
following variables when preceded by a dollar: USER, DESKTOP, DISPLAY,
APPLETWIDTH, APPLETHEIGHT, WIDTH, HEIGHT, PORT. Use two dollar signs
($$) to get a dollar sign in the generated html. -->
<HTML>
<TITLE>
$USER's $DESKTOP desktop ($DISPLAY)
</TITLE>
<APPLET CODE=vncviewer.class ARCHIVE=vncviewer.jar
WIDTH=$APPLETWIDTH HEIGHT=$APPLETHEIGHT>
<param name=PORT value=$PORT>
</APPLET>
</HTML>
Does that help...?
