Hi, I'm interested in helping development of a standard "light" encryption algorithm - this is something I have been wanting to add to the Palm client for a while, but full generic SSH handling has too much overhead & complexity for this application. Chris. (PS - Your message didn't include your direct email address, so I had to reply via the list). -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Bryan A. Anyway, I'm back. And, having finished school, I finally have some time to experiment more directly with the code. I'd like to find any other developers or security specialists out there who would be interested in helping in the design, testing, and security strength evaluation process of adding a light encryption layer (ie, probably not doing PKI, or relying heavily on the pipe-dream of protected storage at a typical server) to VNC. Please e-mail me directly, off-list. I will gauge interest, and figure out which direction to go from there. - ---------- Bryan Pendleton ICQ: 2680952 Phone: (650)714-7827 "The root of all knowledge lies within, but knowledge is useless unless it is collected and shared." -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBOzUq2tD5wNo1pnTcEQLoiQCgs6T99tJ5DN5qLInfTuDMbQeAQGIAoKyI TUvYqEQMfW4TOroLtYNdutpt =HOyH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send a message with the line: unsubscribe vnc-list to [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send a message with the line: unsubscribe vnc-list to [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
