I use 3.3.3R9 through a VPN[1] all the time without any trouble. When you
have established your VPN connection, can you ping the host by IP address?

[1] Raptor Mobile 6.5.3 on Win2K Pro connecting to Raptor Firewall on NT4,
connecting to an NT4 domain.
