I have been running VNC server on a Win/NT Server SP6. A some point I had it running continuously for a few months, and was able to use a VNC client on another NT Server, and also from linux and MacOS. No crashes that I recall. Perhaps we can compare configs when I'm back next week. Never tried it from Win 2000. Do you use any special switches when you launch the server, for bit depth, resolution, etc? - Dave On Fri, 13 Jul 2001 00:14:39 -0700 Matt Hyne <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have just installed VNC (whatever the latest version > is) on a Windows NT Server (with Service Pack 4) and a > Windows 2000 workstation. > > I have started VNC as a service on the NT Server and when > I attempt to connect to it from the Windows 2000 > Workstation, the Windows NT Server crashes and reboots. > > Basically, before I installed VNC this server had been up > for 6mnths +.
