On unix you can start Xvnc with -alwaysshared. This will autmatically share
even if the viewer is not asking for it.
On WinVNC the registry entry under HKLM\Software\ORL\WinVNC3
ConnectPriority DWORD = 1
will do the same.

at the moment i can only check it on my Win2k box, but it should work
similar
on othersystems:

Invoke "vncviewer" with "-shared" (unix) or "/shared" (windows). Or choose
options onthe startup dialog and check "Request shared session" (It's in the
"misc"
section).
