Hello vnc-list, I have a remote PC set at 1280*1024, but local one 1024*768. When I start VNC viewer it prompts for address and password and then just closes. No problem if remote PC's resolution is the same as local one or lower. Both OSes are WIN2000. Both PCs are on the same LAN running TCP/IP. VNC version 3.3.3r9.
