strings command brings out all options:

-ac                    disable access control restrictions

-c                     turns off key-click
c #                    key-click volume (0-100)

-r                     turns off auto-repeat
r                      turns on auto-repeat 
-s #                   screen-saver timeout (minutes)
-su                    disable any save under support
-t #                   mouse threshold (pixels)
-terminate             terminate at server reset
-to #                  connection time out
-tst                   disable testing extensions
ttyxx                  server started from init on /dev/ttyxx
v                      video blanking for screen-saver
-v                     screen-saver without video blanking
-wm                    WhenMapped default backing-store
-x string              loads named extension at init time 

: 2. will have a look at Michael's Witrant's autocutsel (now rel.0.2)

: 3. vncserver -dpi 100 indeed starts Xvnc with the -dpi 100 parameter, but
default chars (e.g. in window borders & mwm-menu) are still too large...

Strange.  It does for me.

Try the "-dpi 100" option, or whatever number is appropriate.
