It sounds like you are running in app mode. Try as a service, If this is the case then I am assuming you either don't have a default password or have a different password or settings for default.

Have you tried to connect through a browser? This will give you the opportunity to send a CTL+ALT+DEL command after you login. Just a thought. Also, on the syste you are trying to connect to, does it have the server loaded or just the App running.....Makes a difference.
