Have the same question for Windows. Have (I think) set on a windows
machine the server to listen at port 8080 (display# 67716). VNC viewer
connects fine to Ip:73616 or IP:8080, but I can't get the java viewer to
work with either Ip:8080, or IP:73616, or IP:73516. Best I get is with the
IP:8080, which gives me the RFB 003 message.

Subject: Another Port ?

Hi,
is there any way to change the port 5800 to 8080 ?

There's a firewall between 2 computers,
and the firewall only allows port 8080.

I tried to re-compile the source-code,
but there are too much errors while compiling,
some files are missed, too.
(I changed the line #define HTTP_PORT_OFFSET 5800 in rfb.h)

When I connect via Browser "http://ip:5800";
I get the login-screen, 10 seconds later "Operation timed out"
