Easy as pie. If VNC is already running between computer X and Y, open an FTP session in another window and tranfer the files. Here is another thing you can do. Since VNC requires a TCP/IP link, you can print (using lpr) over the link. The remote system, operated locally, can execute a print command remotly, but the actual printing is local. (Do not use crappy print drivers!
