Jared,

I would recommend that you have a good look at

http://www.synik.f9.co.uk/vnc/

Richard Harris has got a great little package called "Fastpush".
I use it a lot, and it saves you driving for a couple of hours to
fix the simplest little problem.

The only minor thing is you will have to take a password you want
to use and convert it to binary :/

Good Luck,
Regards,

Daniel Wyllie

I could install the winvnc but that shows a message after it has been
installed. I want to see if there is a way to do it through the
registry
rather than isntalling it.

Maybe it is too hard and I will have to put up with the error message.

Actually, you need to run "winvnc -install" to properly install winvnc
as a
service on NT. I've never tried to automate this, so I can't directly
comment...

Subject: Need help with installing VNC on a NT machine!

Hi all,

I have figured out how to install VNC across a network onto win9x
machines
but cant seem to figure it out on NT workstations. I know that this
kind of
thing has been asked b4 but I have had a look at the archives and could
not
find an answer.

I can install ,or rather copy the files, needed to run VNC to a NT
workstation but cannot run the service. Is there a registry key that I
can
export from a machine that is already running VNC as a service or is it
more
complicated than this??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Jared
