I am looking for a method to run a (non-Xwindows based) process as a child process to a VNCserver session such that when the VNCserver is "killed" the child process is killed along with the VNCserver session.
If an Xwindows based app is started from XSTARTUP (which gets spawned from VNCstartup), this process will exit when its parent VNCserver exits. However, if the process spawned from XSTARTUP is not an Xwindows based app, the process does not exit when the VNCserver exits. thanx ========================================= Mark Kyprianou, ICTV, Inc 10946 Beaver Dam Rd, Suite G Hunt Valley, MD 21031 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Voice: (410)229-9946 x3005 or (866)800-8231 FAX: (410)229-0008 ========================================= --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
