hi all, i have had a redhat 7.1 box running vnc for quite sometime. we have it set up using ixvnc and it works great. i recently set up another box using redhat 7.2 and ixvnc as well. when i connect to it from another machine i get the correct window heading but it relays to my other 7.1 box. i get a session to my older box but things are a bit different. the login screen has squares rather than the name of the server. if i disconnect it from the network and connect to itself i get the grey screen with no window manager running. i changed the /root/.vnc/xstartup file to use gnome but that didn't help.
can anyone help me?
