Fred, There _are_ other free personal firewalls. Tiny Personal Firewall is reported to be more adaptable and reliable than ZA. There are probably others as well. You may want to look at a newsgroup, comp.dcom.modems.cable (covers dsl also). Also, do you have ZA set for medium security? Set on high security, it won't let you do much of anything, I understand. If you drop it to medium and restrict IP's, you'll _probably_ have decent security and speed shouldn't suffer so much.
