It sounds like some version of Linux use CTRL-ALT-DEL as a reset similar to Windows 3.1 and 9.x. I know on every version of Unix I have used CTRL-ALT-DEL doesn't do anything and can be sent just by pressing the keys. SunOS, Solaris, HPUX, SCO all are like this in my personal experience. -- -------------- David A.
