We've been using WinVNC for some time now on Win boxes & I'm venturing into the VNC on UNIX. First machine I'm trying to run the vncserver script and/or Xvnc executable is this Sun Solaris 2.x machine. I think it's almost there but when I connect to that machine what I see from my vncviewer (on my W98 box) is a screen with black-white dots with a bold 'X' which I think is a mouse cursor (I see this screen in *inux when X is starting up so my guess). I think somehow the X is not setup correctly?
