I thank you all for VNC. It has helped me work out some improvements on my computer with a friend who is a programmer (I am not) with out having to drive over to his house.
Suggestion I am looking for a mode or modification that will automatically skip updating the VNC viewer's screen when the application server is changing screens quickly. For example when I am connected to a remote viewer over a dial up line, if I open Windows explorer to switch to another file or application VNC updates the viewer with un needed views of what is going on. This means that I have to wait for this updating before I can continue jumping around. I would like VNC to automatically abort sending a screen that has already been overwritten on the application server Some times I have to be jumping around trying to find which screen it is want to show and not have to wait while VNC sends each screen that was viewed as part of the process of finding the right one for presentation. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
