Bandwidth is consumed for every active viewer to a server. Check the docs to
decrese bandwidth consumption: small server with low color usage:
800x600x256 is perfect for the average server, 640x480x256 is even better
for monitoring only.

btw: for viewing the local server, use the hostname localhost or ip address
127.0.0.1. THat does not use any bandwidth on any networking device.
