What about colour depth? Are you running the same versions of the same distribution on both PC's, or different?
Is there something special about the industrial PC that would cause it to handle video differently? Rich -----Original Message----- From: Philip R Thompson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 18 April 2002 21:02 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: disconnect I have two machines (a laptop and an industrial computer) both running the same version of Windows 2000. If I run the laptop as server, I can connect with the industrial computer as viewer with no problem. However, if I make the industrial computer the server and try to use the laptop as the viewer, I get disconnected instantly after sending the password. Same problem as reported by Mario Becroft, but only one way? I've set the screen resolutions to be the same, to no avail. The registry settings appear to be the same. Any ideas, anyone?
