Well, for those of you taking an interest in the MU VRML stuff I am doing,
the paper is TENTATIVELY COMPLETE. I will present this at RIT on Thursday
(if anyone in the area would like to come please do, I will give
directions). I have also spoken to Bruce Damer and I will make every effort
to present this at the O-World Conference at the NASA Ames Research Center
Nov 4-5. Additionally, I will be posting copies to bruce, Jeff Sonstien for
V-Net and the Web 3d Org to make this available.

This document DOES have a code listing, however Word 97 is really not the
best place to view code =). I will be making the code available in .java
and .class files when the world is up for public viewing which should be
next week assuming that the RIT labs have been set up again (we are tearing
them apart for the weekend we are moving buildings). Additionally if anyone
has an Oracle Database Server or another database product and would like to
migrate this application you are welcome to mirror this example with
appropriate citing.

You can get it at:

If for some reason the images dont show up you can download them from this
directory as well.

Have fun reading, tell me what you think. I know Steve G. and I have
wonderful discussions on this, Id welcome anything anyone has to say !!

PS I realize there are still a number of issues with this code. THis is to
some degree by design, as I wanted the code to be easy to follow rather than
best performance (it is after all a demo) and also the major focus of
completing the Masters here is not application design. I WILL be working
this summer to produce a more optimal version of this as time goes on. That
said, this DOES work, and DOES implement the issues described in the paper.
Have fun, print it out, read it, and enjoy, this was a great project for me,
and really is only just beginning.

PSPS I would like to thank this community for everything that it has done to
me. If I have neglected any major newsgroup that you feel would enjoy this
paper, please go ahead and forward it to them, I have more groups laying
around than anything and it is sometimes hard to tell if I've hit them all.

Whew...
