I realize billing for that type of call is almost nothing now days... but 
wouldn't that go from a call that has no billing charge what so ever to a call 
with a tiny bill tied to it since it was answered? If you are ATT that could 
add up?


Just curious since it was brought up.

I misdialed a number (312) 817-1629 and got the message, "At no additional 
charge, AT&T can help you find a similar business in the same area, since the 
number you called is not in service." It then went into an IVR.

Is this common?

Does this break any automated systems?

No, I have no desire to implement this on our numbers.
