"Todd J. Zywicki of GMU?s School of Law (on leave) announces the launch of a new journal, the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy. From the email release: We are pleased to announce that George Mason University School of Law is launching a new law journal, the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy. JLEP is both student-edited and peer-reviewed, which will ensure that published articles are of the highest quality. Our goal is to provide interesting, creative, and thought-provoking articles on law and economics in two annual issues. One issue each year is devoted to specialized symposia, and the second is a peer-reviewed compendium of articles submitted by individual authors. Our focus is on the legal side of law and economics, an approach that we hope will de-emphasize technical mathematics, while providing our readers greater access to economic insights about legal and policy issues. Please address submissions, questions, and comments to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Looks promising. The board of advisors is packed with scholars like Lisa Bernstein, James Buchanan, Guido Calabresi, Robert Ellickson, Richard A. Epstein, Richard Posner, Gordon Tullock, and many others. Definitely one to watch for in the coming year." I know Todd well, and I am sure this will be an excellent product. -- Posted by Tyler Cowen to The Volokh Conspiracy at 5/6/2004 12:18:36 PM |
