At noon today (Thursday) I am giving a lecture on "The Presumption of Liberty and the Public Interest: Medical Marijuana and Fundamental Rights" at Washington University in St. Louis as part of the [1]Public Interest Law Speakers Series (scroll down). The event will be held in the Bryan Cave Moot Courtroom. Last night I had an interesting dinner with members of the board of the Federalist Society Student Chapter including a 2L who, before coming to law school, played "street kid" in [2]The Killer Eye (1998). The food was good too. On Thursday of next week, I will be speaking on "[3]Scalia's Infidelity: A Critique of Faint-Hearted Originalism" at the [4]University of Texas School of Law. On Friday, I will be speaking on a panel at the [5]International Contract Law Conference being held at Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth.
