More on the Developments in the NSA Surveillance Program:

Afetr [1]reading the AG's letter about changes in the NSA Surveillance
program, I have a very different sense about what happened as compared
to my sense after reading the AP's story. The Administration hasn't
"backed down" at all, it seems to me. Rather, it seems like they found
a judge on the FISA Court who was willing to approve the entire
Terrorist Surveillance Program under FISA. Off the top of my head,
this seems rather bizarre; I don't know how that's possible. I'll have
more in an hour or so; I'm about to head off to class, and I'll have
more on what this means when I'm back.
