By accident, I stumbled on the answer to a trivia question I never even knew existed. Here's the question: Which case that appears in a major law school casebook involves a party who, by his or her name, can be identified as being of Laotian birth or extraction? Perhaps there's more than one, but I rather doubt it. For a hint (the name of the subject involved), see below. And, yes, I realize that if you didn't have the right casebook, you might be unable to get the answer. In fact, that is one of many reasons you might be unable, or unwilling, to get the answer.
