A Remarkable Story:

Over at [1]Simple Justice, Scott Greenfield has [2]an astonishing post
about a criminal case that deserves much wider attention: [3]People v.
Flores, in which a defendant was accidentally convicted of murder and
then sentenced to murder even though the murder charge had already
been dismissed. If the facts of Scott's post check out, this case is
an unbelievable story of ineptness and prosecutorial abuse. And as
Scott notes, it's a story that the Appellate Court seems to have
wanted to keep quiet; while the court vacated the conviction for the
nonexistent murder charge, it did so as quietly as possible. If you're
a journalist, this sounds like a story you should check out.
Thanks to Mike Cernovich for the link.
