Journeyman is a rare network television show that I have really enjoyed. It is a clever sci-fi drama about a San Francisco newspaper journalist who is sent back in time involuntarily to intervene in someone's life by altering the past and changing the present. Why this is happening to him is one of these gradually unfolding mysteries. He works on these missions with a woman who is sent forward in time from the 1940s. Although a bit reminiscent of Quantum Leap, in my view it is much more intelligently written and performed, with a complex interaction between the past and the present. If you have not seen the show, you can watch all episodes for free on the NBC website [1]here. After 13 episodes, the series was not renewed, although it has also not yet been officially canceled.
