With John Elwood and Ken Anderson as recent arrivals at the blog, I'm afraid I have to announce my departure. I have accepted a position as Senior Counsel for Supreme Court Nominations for [1]Senator John Cornyn for the duration of the Sotomayor nomination. The job starts on Monday, so I will be taking a break from blogging during the next few months. (Oh, and no, there's actually no connection between my departure and John and Ken's arrival; just a coincidence of timing.) I might have a post or two up later today or over the weekend, but I'll be offblog after that.
