I forgot to add, the TM5000 are also identical mechanically to the TM500 and 5000 'scopes.
The TM5000 and TM500 are sometimes electrically compatible, but don't bet on it. Compatibility is a case-by-case thing. FYI: 5000 PIs are identified: 5Axx, 5Bxx, 5Cxx, 5Lxx ... (digit 5; letter for function; two digit sequence) TM500 PIs are identified: AM50x, DC50x, PS50x ... (two letter function; numbers 50; one digit sequence) TM5000 PIs are identified: DM5001, PS5004, ...
