Is one used as an exponent, and doesn't need all segments to work? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mark Sims Sent: Tuesday, June 03, 2014 5:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [volt-nuts] Another LED display wanted...
Yeah, and it's a weirdo too. Each digit is built as two seven-segment displays, so there are two cathode lines and 7 anode lines per char. All the current 7 seg displays have 14 anode lines per char. I've thought of doing a replacement front panel board (probably using a micro and LCD display), but only one segment is bad and it does not affect the usability of the display... too much work for now. _______________________________________________ volt-nuts mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/volt-nuts and follow the instructions there. _______________________________________________ volt-nuts mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe, go to https://www.febo.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/volt-nuts and follow the instructions there.
