Hendrik, Thanks for sharing your design. I have looked at the Rhopointasia.com website and I noticed they had the squaristors. They appear to be of a similar size to the Vishay metal foil resistors. It would appear you might save some space on your design using radial packages. I have not seen these mentioned by other users and I would be interested to see some real-world data.
