Look into a product called Stabilant 22 or 22A. Although it sounds like
techno-snake oil, it actually works. A friend of mine owned a company that
did burn in and testing on circuit boards. Their test fixtures used connectors
and sockets with hundreds to thousands of pins (and cost thousands of dollars).
Treating them with Stabilant GREATLY increased their lifetime and reliability.
