The question is, are these connectors the same in performance? You have a 7.5 digit multimeter and if you use wrong connectors and cables it can make that 7th digit useless.

If the 7th digit is useless does it make sense to buy your 750 GBP + shipping + taxes or I can buy for the same amount 3 pieces 34401A or Keithley 2000. Prices for those 6.5 digit multimeters are around 300-350 EUR now.

There is a reason why Solartron used that connector, they could have also fit 4mm banana posts but they didn't...

So, it's not the cost hurdle it was when you could only buy them form Fischer 
(with a large MOV).
