Hi, I'm using VOPMail v5.1.202 gateway (relay) edition as my primary MX record. In the config for certain domains, I set the routing up to send to NAVIEG on another machine. The NAVIEG is set up on port 26, since there is already another mail server on port 25. It will work for days, then mail starts backing up on random domains because one of the two programs can't "talk" to the other one. I don't know which is having the problem. When all I did was route to another mail server on port 25, I had no problems. Once I started routing to a different port I started having these problems occasionally. The DOMAIN.MRI file in the spooling directory does not mention the non-standard port, just the ip address of the remote machine. Does VOPMail ever put a port ID in the header if the remote port is not the SMTP port? It's NAVIEG 2.1 and I do have the updated 2.5 on the way. Symantec has a crazy way of buying that one. Anyway, I wondered if anyone else was using the NAVIEG here. brenda --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
