I dont think you can do that, vop treats them as local and wont route them
you can add a route for * to an IP then all external mail will do there but the
local is still local.

only way to do this would be to have local users send outgoing mail to the
server you want it to go to directly, get scanned then it would have to send the
mail destin for your local users to your internal server just like outside mail does.

Yea that's the idea, we just started using Postini and I want to send all my local mail to their servers for filtering and back.

what's your concept?  you'd add a local route to your vopmail that'd redirect everything to an outside mailserver that would do what?  filter things and then send it back?  doesn't that just create an infinite loop or am I missing something?

Can I add a route in VOPMail that directs local email (IE email that is sent from a user in the default domain to a use in the default domain) to an outside mail server?
I'm looking for an official response from Vircom on this.

Thanks!
