Oddly enough, I just had it happen again with a different domain, topica.com. The operator logs show the server received one message destined to one account. Somehow, however, a couple hundred were delivered to that mailbox, all with the same message ID. The mail server took the message ID and appended "-n" where the n was an incrementing number between 1 and 9. Every time the box was checked and the 10 messages were downloaded, 10 more took their place on the server. The operator logs show that the message was scanned for spam and viruses on its way in. I think we may be seeing some kind of problem with modusMail creating duplicate messages. Unfortunately, I did not get a copy of the original message to see why it might have tripped up modusMail. In our case, we were getting a whole bunch of "too many copies of this message" kind of warnings. Clogged up our spool with about 10,000 messages. Just found a bunch more in the spool this morning and cleaned them out before a problem occurred. Benjamin S.
