We use VOPMail servers for mail relays to our Modus server. One of the biggest problems is the sheer volume of spam that we receive so we have to run three relay servers. Our setup is that the relays have allowed lists of domains for which they will accept mail and then those domains each have a forced routing to our Modus server since that server has no mx record. One of the biggest slowdowns we see is the VOPMail servers sending out bounce notices, mainly to non-existent domains/email addresses. Is there a way to turn off the delivery failure notices. We don't want to turn off the reject notices, only the delivery failures for those emails that could not be delivered to our main server because they were invalid addresses. Sending out these notices is pointless and eats up valuable resources at this point. MikeH ---- To err is human. To blame someone else for your errors is even more human.
