I think the Java console uses port 106. You definetely need to open it in the firewall.

Today I made rules on my NT4 VOPMail server box that only allowed certain ports to be listened to.
Although I had applied the patches from MS regarding the worm, I noticed that I was getting MANY hits on port 135.
Further, I was noticing in the logs that there were many network errors and people were calling me with errors they were experiencing.
I only allowed ports: 21, 25, 53, 80, 81, 110 on that box.
I no longer get those port 135 attacks and the connections to the server are back to normal but:
Now it appears that webmail doesn't work properly. I see in the config that it uses a port #31804
Does that need to be enabled?
Also, doesn't the java applet for the remconsole require port 106?
I would appreciate if anyone has an idea on the ports required for webmail and the remconsole app.
